Atria Mt. Pleasant, a retirement community outside of downtown Charleston, has been acquired by new management.
Senior Resource Group LLC, senior living community developers, will take ownership and management of the property, renaming it The Artisan Mt. Pleasant, according to a news release from SRG.
“We are thrilled to welcome The Artisan Mt. Pleasant to the SRG family of award-winning communities,” SRG CEO Michael Grust said in the release. “SRG has a longstanding commitment to being a catalyst for great resident experiences, including a focus on transformative wellness in mind, body and soul. Our seasoned leadership, unique signature programs and renowned reputation with almost 40 years’ experience operating premier retirement communities nationwide positions us to continue the success of this exceptional community.”
The community is located at 601 Solana Way in Mount Pleasant on an 11.8-acre campus, the release said. Each residence ranges from 395 to 1,700-square-feet.
The Artisan offers 168 residential spaces including cottages, independent living, assisted living and memory care, according to the release. Community amenities include 12-hour daily dining, indoor heated swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, and an onsite art studio.
“Our aim with The Artisan Mt. Pleasant is to be a place where residents can live well, explore passions and connect with others,” Rob Henderson, SRG chief operating officer, said in the release. “By integrating our signature programs with the warmth and charm of Southern hospitality, we’re creating a community that feels uniquely attuned to the spirit of the region.”
The space was designed by architect PRDG and developed by Formation Development Group, the release said.
