SpringRidge at Charbonneau Earns CARF Reaccreditation

WILSONVILLE, Ore.—(January 28, 2025)—SpringRidge at Charbonneau, an active retirement community owned and operated by Senior Resource Group (SRG), has earned a three-year reaccreditation from CARF International, an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. The reaccreditation, valid until 2028, recognizes the community’s dedication to excellence in independent and assisted living and memory care.

“Achieving this prestigious reaccreditation reaffirms our commitment to providing exceptional care, services, and lifestyle opportunities for our residents,” said Executive Director Shannon Lang. “The positive feedback from the CARF survey team highlights the strength of our leadership, the enthusiasm of our team, and the enriching experiences we offer our residents.”

To achieve this reaccreditation, SpringRidge at Charbonneau underwent a voluntary, rigorous peer review process, demonstrating that its services meet the highest standards of quality, accountability, and measurable results. Surveyors praised the community’s strong leadership team, noting their cohesion and accessibility, as well as the welcoming and well-liked staff who contribute to the overall vibrancy of the community.

The report also recognized SpringRidge’s beautiful campus, which is nestled within the larger Charbonneau neighborhood and features walking paths, a unique shopping village and a golf course. Additionally, the community’s outreach efforts—including hosting the Alzheimer’s Walk to Remember and residents’ dedication to crafting blankets for Guide Dogs for the Blind—were commended as a testament to its culture of giving back.

SpringRidge’s innovative Zest initiative was highlighted for its success in inspiring residents to pursue wellness and engagement for the mind, body and soul.
