The Piedmont at Buckhead Earns Three-Year Accreditation
ATLANTA— January 30, 2024—The Piedmont at Buckhead, an active retirement community owned and operated by Senior Resource Group (SRG), has been re-accredited by CARF International, an independent, nonprofit accreditor of health and human services. Similar to the five-star rating of the hospitality industry, this certification is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a retirement community. The Piedmont at Buckhead has earned the highest level of accreditation for both independent and assisted living all three times it has been surveyed, beginning in 2018. This new reaccreditation is valid through 2027.

To receive the three-year reaccreditation outcome, The Piedmont at Buckhead completed a voluntary peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurability and accountability. The survey team’s report highlighted the many strengths of the community, including a strong commitment to residents, a resort-style environment that provides a sense of belonging, and life enrichment activities and wellness programs that appeal to residents’ mind, body and soul. The Piedmont at Buckhead’s pet-friendly policy was also praised.
