The Village at Northridge Earns Prestigious CARF-Reaccreditation
NORTHRIDGE, CA.—Feb 1, 2023— The Village at Northridge, an active retirement community owned and operated by Senior Resource Group (SRG), announced it has been reaccredited by CARF International.
Similar to the five-star rating of the hospitality industry, this certification is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to a retirement community. The Village at Northridge has been CARF-accredited since 2011, and this latest accreditation—valid through 2026—is for both independent and assisted living.

To receive the three-year reaccreditation outcome, The Village at Northridge completed a voluntary peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors that its programs and services are of the highest quality, measurability and accountability. The survey team’s report highlighted the many strengths of the community, including ranking residents’ safety and security as high priorities, an accessible leadership team with a culture of openness and trust, a first-class restaurant and dining experience, large and updated residences with abundant amounts of natural light, and impressive life enrichment activities and wellness programs that appeal to residents’ mind, body and soul.
